The XCV Blockchain protocol is a base layer “L1” peer-to-peer (p2p) economic finality generating blockchain protocol
There are no ‘special’ peers that have unique power in the network.
Anyone who downloads the software can join and validate the p2p network. This can be done with low hardware and bandwidth costs.
Anyone can acquire XCV and do tasks that require XCV on the network, like sending XCV, creating causes or nominees or do block generation or finality generation.
The blockchain has an internal automated pool and pot system that stores XCV and redirects fee flows to good causes.
Causes receive rewards via the onchain leaderboard. You can vote for Causes with XCV or delegate your vote to a Nominee.
Creating Causes, voting, acting as a nominee give you the chance of earning proofs. Every week, each proof has a chance to win XCV.
